Have you been wearing eyelash clusters lately? Do you find them beautiful on, but a little annoying when it's time to remove them? That's okay, it happens to me all the time too! However, I've found some simple and safe ways to remove clusters easily, and I wanted to share them with you today to make sure you don't hurt your real lashes!

Never tug hard! Be careful with your real lashes!

I've been in a hurry before and pulled them off with my hands, which not only hurt a little bit but also caused me to lose a few of my real eyelashes. Don't make this mistake! Tugging on the clusters will hurt the roots of your lashes, and over time, your real lashes will get thinner and thinner. So remember, be gentle when removing your clusters.

Prepare your remover

Before you start, prepare what you need: I usually use a professional lash remover or natural oils like coconut oil or olive oil! If you have these, there's absolutely no need to buy extra makeup remover. Have some more makeup sponges on hand, and ideally a pair of tweezers, but use them carefully.

Tip: Let the glue soften first

This step is really so important! If you go straight for it and the glue is still hard, it's not going to be comfortable to remove it in any way. The best way to remove it is to use a hot towel on your eyes or after a hot shower, as the steam will help soften the glue and make it smoother when you take the clusters. Trust me, save your energy and protect your lashes!

How to properly use a remover or natural oil

Next, using the remover or coconut oil, apply it to a cotton pad and gently press it onto your lashes for about 10–15 seconds. This is to allow the remover liquid or oil to dissolve the glue better. Then, gently rub your lashes—not too hard! You'll notice that the lash clusters slide off easily. If some are still firmly stuck, don't worry; apply more remover and wait a while before trying again.

What can I do to prevent skin irritation?

I sometimes find my eyelids a bit dry or sensitive after removing the lash clusters, in which case I would gently wash the area around my eyes with lukewarm water after removing the clusters and apply some mild eye cream. Or you can use some natural aloe vera gel, which is moisturizing and soothing. That way the skin around your eyes won't feel irritated.

Don't forget the aftercare too!

Finally, I usually use an eyelash serum or olive oil and apply it to my real lashes to help them recover and grow. If you don't have a serum, a bit of regular eye cream will work. By doing this, your real lashes will stay healthy and will still look beautiful the next time you apply your lash clusters!

These are my tips for removing eyelash clusters! I hope you guys try them out and feel extra relaxed the next time you remove your clusters. If you have any good tips, remember to share them with me too!

Stay beautiful! I love you guys!
